"Grilled Cheese Blessings"

I hope you can all read this letter my husband left for my daughter today before he went to work. He told me I could read it. Little did he know I was going to post it for all the world to see! But it moved me so. This for me is an answer to a prayer that has been on going for about 6 years. It sometimes takes time but God does respond. My husbands heart is softer than ever now and I am so blessed. His willingness to be a Dad will really shine for our daughter. This brought tears to my eyes. It may not have the same affect for any of you but there is a history here and a combined family so it is really moving.

"This means tremendous joy to you, I know, even though you are temporarily harassed by all kinds of trials and temptations. This is no accident—it happens to prove your faith, which is infinitely more valuable than gold" (1 Peter 1:6-7 PH).

Ok, little did I know that my blogging adventures would make me cry this morning! That is one of the sweetest things I've ever read! Children are so amazing in how they can teach you things without even realizing it. Thanks for sharing! And thanks for visiting my blog, I appreciate the tip on how to deal with my son's stuffed toy addiction!

Just beautiful Papermoonies! I speak from my own experience when I say that there is nothing more a girl needs at a young age than the love and approval of her father. This is how a young girl comes to view her own value when it comes to dealing with men later on in life. If she is valued by the man in her life now she will demand it from those she meets in a romantic way later on. I wish more fathers would have their eyes opened to this very simple fact about their daughters. Thanks for posting this moving letter. :)

I can see why you are overjoyed about this letter. It is a shame to miss the awesome blessing that children are because you are irritated by their needs and problems. I rejoice with you about the way the Lord is changing your husband's heart.

Thanks for following my blog! That is how I found you.
