Devil, Baptism

I have been called a few things in my time but coming from the 16 year old daughter as "Mom, you are the Devil" that was the icing on the cake, after I was telling her that it was time she stopped just hanging out on the street side at the parks and what not. I went to the local Art Gallery and got her signed up for the next couple of months for three days a week.
And at the same time, my son who is 20 was baptised yesterday!! Praise God... So strange how things work.. Ah the joys of parenthood!

I am so excited, I will be teaching my first live class at my local Art Gallery. Well, its not actually until February 2010 BUT I am still happy as a lark. Hopefully they will allow me to branch out to other classes as well like;

mini collage canvases or

Bottle cap, Fun!

I have not done any artwork for a while and I am so crabby because of it!!! Less work hours next week so I am totally gearing up for fun!!!!

Love on your family even if the hate you...

Brittany,

take comfort in knowing that if your 16 year old teenage daughter hates your every breath and fiber of your being...then you must be doing something right and you are right on track to raising a responsible and healthy young woman!

Here from SITS - wow your art is so cool!
The worst my eldest has ever said to me, I think, is "When you are cross with me we are not friends". But he's three.

Hi Brittany, My daughter used to have a sign on her bedroom door that read "Don't Knock, Because I Won't Answer...." I also agree with Cindy S. that if your kids "hate" you or think you are a little nuts, you are raising a responsible and healthy woman! Beautiful artwork. Congrats on your future class! Have a magical day! ~Nan
