Hello everyone!!!!! It has been soooo hot in California and I tell ya I am not ready for the summer to hit. And its gonna hit hard I can tell. We don't have air conditioning either but hey that's kinda green, right? In the below post I make mention of a bunch of things I had my husband rescue from his work. It was actually on its way to the trash! Well here is my first attempt at assemblage and I had so much fun!!! Happy creating everyone and don't forget to tell those close to you how much you love them, and give them a hug if you are close enough to do so. Blessings

That is soooo cool, I love assemblage. I think your piece is beautiful! I also get my hubby to take "trash" home for me :) I love making pretty things out of nothing...... Kinda like the cobb house! Wasn't that amazing.... I am not sure if I would want to live there all year round but imagine that place in spring time with all the budding flowers and fresh air :) Keep crafty, Michele

Brittney your first piece is delicious! Thank you for sharing it with us. My husband brings me goodies too,just like a faithful kitty. I wake up sometimes to find metal or foam on the porch. He works in HVAC so I get all types of the odd & bizarre. I've never tried Assemblage so perhaps, I should try.

Thank you for your kind comment on my blog, one of our ways of recycling in our shop is to re use packaging instead of always buying new packaging. Save a tree! Your assemblage is very innovative, are you going to add paint.
